How the Resumity ATS Scanner works
- 1. Paste or upload. Copy your resume text into the box, or upload a PDF. The scanner reads the raw text the same way an ATS parser would.
- 2. Instant heuristic score. We check section coverage (Experience, Education, Skills, Projects), keyword density, quantified achievements, bullet length, and contact formatting.
- 3. PDF readability test. If you upload a PDF, we run an ATS readability test that checks font embedding, margin size, image-to-text ratio, and table structure — common reasons ATS parsers fail.
- 4. AI-powered feedback. Optional LLM feedback rewrites weak bullets, suggests missing keywords, and flags vague language. Every suggestion is shown as a diff you can approve or reject.
- 5. No account needed. The basic scanner is free and anonymous. We only ask for an email if you want a copy of your report sent to you.

Does Resumity store my resume?
No. Text you paste is processed in-memory and never persisted. PDFs are extracted locally in your browser and discarded immediately after scanning.
Why does my PDF score low even though it looks great?
