Credits top up to the plan's monthly amount every 30 days; unused credits don't stack above it. Costs: AI rewrite 2 credits, cover letter 3, tailoring to a job 5, importing a resume 3, job description match 2 (on any plan). The ATS check, manual edits and exports cost nothing. The Naukri headline and profile summary generators are free with a daily limit and need no account. The amount shown at checkout is the amount charged.
The free ATS check
- Upload a PDF (up to 10 MB). It is read in your browser with pdf.js; the file is not uploaded.
- It checks how much text can be extracted, whether Experience, Education and Skills headings are found, whether your name, email and phone are readable, corrupted characters, and whether date formats are consistent.
- Pasted text gets a local score, plus written AI feedback: that text is sent to the AI provider.
- It does not compare your resume with a job description. Job description matching (a match score, missing keywords and suggestions) needs a free account and uses 2 AI credits per match.
How the AI edits a resume
You ask for a change in plain language. The AI proposes edits only to the parts you asked about, is told not to invent jobs, skills or numbers (it leaves a [METRIC] placeholder where a number is missing), and nothing is applied until you review and accept it. Resume content is not sold; see the privacy policy.
How the templates are tested
In a 2026-10-09 study, 21 PDFs exported from the 7 templates were read back by three open-source PDF text extractors (63 extractions). Every name, email, phone, section heading and bullet came back intact and in order. Commercial applicant tracking systems were not tested. Method, limits and raw data.
What Resumity does not do
- No Hindi interface (yet), no browser extension, no team or agency plans.
- No AI mock interviews and no LinkedIn profile review.
- No export to JSON or plain text; exports are PDF and DOCX.
- No guarantee of interviews or of how any employer's system reads a resume.
