Is Naukri FastForward Worth It? What Reddit Says (2026)

We read 27 Reddit threads, posted between March 2019 and May 2026, where people asked about or reported on Naukri's paid services for job seekers (FastForward, Premium and paid resume writing), and coded 111 top-level replies. Replies warned against the paid plans 43 times and recommended them 7 times. The common advice: keep your free Naukri profile updated and use LinkedIn.

Is Naukri FastForward worth it, according to Reddit?

Mostly no: replies in these threads warned against Naukri's paid plans 43 times and recommended them 7 times.

The busiest recent thread is a 2024 r/developersIndia post titled "DO NOT BUY NAUKRI PAID SERVICES ITS A SCAM", where the poster says recruiter calls stopped after they paid. Most replies agree; a few say the plan works if you resist the upsell, or that it is slightly better than the free account.

The positive replies are specific: one buyer said they paid for six months and got multiple calls, and an older reply said a paid subscription puts your resume in front of more recruiters, with no guarantee of a job.

Does FastForward get you more recruiter calls?

Reports are mixed at best: some buyers say calls went up, more say nothing changed, and the recruiters who replied say they search by skills, not by highlighted profiles.

Several buyers say their profile views or calls fell after they paid, and one 2022 graduate said the "magic happened" only when the paid plan ended. Another, who bought a profile highlight plan, said their views barely moved and they found their job on Instahyre.

A recruiter in r/developersIndia said premium is useless because recruiters look for candidates who match the role, and a person at an HR consultancy in r/india said premium makes no difference if your skills are not listed correctly. A former recruitment-agency employee said premium profiles simply appear above others in recruiters' searches.

  • premium is useless since we only focus on candidates which match job roles (r/developersIndia)
  • Paid naukri subscription actually helps to bring your resume in touch with more recruiters. (r/india)

Why do Naukri's sales calls keep pushing a bigger plan?

Buyers in several threads say that right after paying, sales executives called to push a more expensive package.

Posters describe a first, cheaper plan being put on hold until they spoke to a sales executive, and follow-up calls every few hours. One reply in the scam-alert thread says you can refuse the upgrade once and the plan you paid for is then switched on.

Several replies call the sales calls harassment. Others reply to unsolicited "Naukri" calls with jokes, and one buyer who paid for an international CV and profile highlighting later asked whether a refund was possible.

Is FastForward worth it for freshers?

Reddit leans no: the one reply that weighed experience said it is worth it only for senior people, and a 2026 graduate was told some FastForward services were not offered to them.

In r/IndianWorkplace, a 2026 BTech graduate said two Naukri executives told them the "Resume Display/Priority Applicant" services were not available to their batch; the reply suggested they were being upsold.

A BCA graduate who had applied to over 1,100 jobs on Naukri asked whether a six-month plan was worth it. The reply said they would normally advise against paying, but that a desperate job seeker might reasonably try it.

Is Naukri's paid resume writing (Naukri 360) worth it, according to Reddit?

Reddit has barely discussed it: one reply in these threads judged Naukri's own resume writing, negatively, and 3 r/jobs posts asking whether "Naukri 360" is worth it got no replies.

That reply said Naukri's writers mostly add keywords and make the file ATS compliant, and that they kept their own LaTeX resume. In another thread, a poster with three years' experience said they were still getting few calls after Naukri's writing service, and that the writers insisted on a long summary for keywords.

Replies about resume writers in general are kinder. All 3 positive replies are about writers in general: one calls a professional writer a good investment, one suggests paying for resume help instead of a profile boost, and one says a writer can only do so much if your experience is thin.

  • Their resume service is bad, they just put keywords and make it ats compliant (r/developersIndia)
  • Paying to get your resume written by a professional is always a good investment. (r/bangalore)

What does Naukri's resume writing cost?

On Naukri's own page, one-time packages run from ₹3,250 (0 to 1 year of experience, Regular delivery) to ₹12,300 (15+ years, Super Express).

Naukri sells its paid resume writing as Naukri 360 at naukri.com/resume-writing-service. The page says there are no refunds and no edits after you approve the resume. We checked it on 21 October 2026; prices change, so check the page before you pay. The old naukri.com/fastforward address returned a "page not found" error when we checked it on 23 October 2026.

Reddit posters also mention plans called Naukri Pro and 360 Pro, and profile highlighting sold in three- and six-month packs. We have not listed their prices: they appear only in Reddit posts, and this page quotes prices only from Naukri's own pages.

Is a call from "Naukri FastForward" a scam?

It can be: in one r/bangalore thread, a "FastForward" caller with an email address outside naukri.com took a fee and then asked for a ₹14,000 "refundable" deposit, and replies called it a scam.

The poster had paid about ₹2,700, sat two interviews arranged by the caller and received an offer letter before the deposit request. The emails came from naukricareer.co.in. Replies pointed out that Naukri's site is naukri.com.

Check the sender's domain before you pay anyone who calls about FastForward, and pay only on naukri.com itself. Replies in this thread are not counted in the table, because they are about an impostor.

  • It's naukri.com and not naukricareers.co.in. it's a scam! (r/bangalore)

What do Redditors suggest instead of FastForward?

Keep the free Naukri profile fresh and use LinkedIn: the free profile drew 15 recommendations and LinkedIn 13, against 7 for the paid plans.

The free-profile advice is practical: update or re-upload your resume every day so it shows as recently active, and use the keywords recruiters search for. The free profile is not loved either: it drew 10 criticisms, about scams, calls from small or unknown firms, and how little it does for senior roles.

LinkedIn is suggested for reaching recruiters directly, and the most upvoted reply in the scam-alert thread would rather pay for LinkedIn Premium. Indeed, Instahyre, Wellfound (formerly AngelList) and Hirist are also named.

  • Naukri is great for getting calls. Just don't pay them anything. (r/developersIndia)
  • I’d rather take the linkedin premium and reach out to recruiters (r/developersIndia)

Can you cancel FastForward or get a refund?

Reddit has no success story: one buyer warns that the plan sets up a UPI auto-debit, and Naukri's resume-writing page says there are no refunds.

In r/developersIndia, a poster who could not find a way to cancel a card auto-debit was told to cancel the standing instruction through their bank instead. Another reply suggests asking customer service for a refund, but no one in these threads reports actually getting one.

Before you pay, read the cancellation and refund terms on Naukri's site; this page cannot tell you what they are for every plan.

  • They setup a upi auto debit when you subscribe (r/bangalore)

Which tools come up most?

We searched Reddit's public archive (through the Arctic Shift API) for posts from 1 January 2019 to 23 October 2026 that mention "fastforward", "fast forward naukri", "naukri resume writing", "naukri 360" or "naukri paid", in r/developersIndia, r/IndianWorkplace, r/Indian_Academia, r/bangalore, r/india, r/resumes and r/jobs. Several searches in r/india, r/bangalore, r/jobs and r/resumes, and part of the "naukri paid" search in r/developersIndia, did not finish because the archive kept timing out, and a search of replies (rather than posts) did not finish for the same reason. We kept threads that ask about, or report on, Naukri's paid services for job seekers, and left out posts that promote a product. We then read every top-level reply in the threads listed below and coded whether it recommends or warns against each service it names. A keyword pass suggested a code for each reply; we corrected 40 of them by hand. In a thread that asks whether to buy, a bare "No" counts as a warning. A reply can count in both columns. We skipped removed and downvoted replies, bot and moderator notices, the poster's own replies, link-only replies, and unvoted replies added more than a week after the thread. Replies in the thread about a fake FastForward caller are not counted, because they are about an impostor. That left 111 of 147 top-level replies. Small numbers are rough.

How often each tool is recommended or criticised in the Reddit threads below
ToolRecommendedCriticisedWhat people say
Naukri paid plans (FastForward, Premium)743A few buyers report more calls; most say nothing changed and describe pushy upgrade calls.
Naukri itself (free profile)1510Many say the free profile already brings calls if you keep it updated; critics mention scam calls and small firms.
LinkedIn (incl. Premium)131The most-suggested alternative, mainly for reaching recruiters directly.
Paid resume writing (Naukri's or others)31The positive replies are about resume writers in general; the one reply about Naukri's own service is negative.
Indeed30Named as a free place to apply instead.
Instahyre20Suggested for tech roles; one buyer of a Naukri plan found their job there.
Wellfound (AngelList)20Suggested for startup jobs in older threads.
Hirist10Suggested once for IT roles.

Where does Resumity fit?

We found no Reddit post or reply in these threads that mentions Resumity, the company that publishes this page. Resumity is not a job board and does not push your profile to recruiters, so it does not replace what FastForward sells. It is a resume builder: the free plan includes 10 AI credits a month, and credit packs are one-time payments (₹149 for 50 credits) that never expire. These threads say keywords and an up-to-date profile matter more than paying for visibility; Resumity's free check shows whether software can read your resume's text at all, before you upload it to Naukri.

Check your resume the free way first

Most advice in these threads starts with the same step: make sure software can read your file. The free check reads your PDF in your browser (the file is not uploaded) and shows what text comes out.
