Graphic Designer Resume Example

A sample resume for a graphic designer with five years in brand and packaging design. The portfolio does the persuading, so the resume’s job is to point to it: a "Selected work" section names each project, your role and what happened next.

Everything in this sample is invented: the name, the employers and every number. It shows structure and phrasing. Put in your own facts, and only numbers you can point to a source for.

Adapting this example

  • Keep the resume itself plain and single-column; save visual flair for the portfolio. Text-based resumes are easier for software and people to read.
  • UI or digital designers: add product or web work and any Figma component library you built.
  • Freshers: list college and personal projects under Selected work, each with the brief and your process.
  • Check the portfolio link from a phone before you send the resume.
