Marketing Manager Resume Example

A sample resume for a growth and performance marketing manager with seven years in consumer apps. It separates channel, budget and result so each number has a source, and keeps vanity metrics such as impressions out of the bullets.

Everything in this sample is invented: the name, the employers and every number. It shows structure and phrasing. Put in your own facts, and only numbers you can point to a source for.

Edtech app (about 2 million monthly users) · Bengaluru

  • Own paid acquisition across Google Ads, Meta and app-store ads with a ₹1.2 crore monthly budget; blended cost per paid subscriber fell from ₹1,450 to ₹1,080 in 9 months.
  • Moved budget from broad app-install campaigns to subscription-event bidding after a holdout test showed install campaigns added few paying users.
  • Built trial journeys across email and push; trial-to-paid conversion rose from 6.1% to 7.4% over two quarters, measured against a 10% holdout group.
  • Set up GA4 and the mobile measurement partner with the data team so every campaign reports cost per subscriber, not just cost per install.
  • Manage 4 marketers and 2 agencies; run a weekly creative review from a shared test backlog.

Senior Performance Marketing Executive

Food delivery startup · Bengaluru

  • Sent weekly performance reports to leadership flagging spend that was not producing orders.

Where the numbers in a resume like this come from

The figures above are made up, but each is a kind of number you can look up. Before you put one on your resume, find it in one of these places. If you cannot, describe the scope instead.

NumberWhere to find it
Cost per acquisition or per subscriberPlatform spend divided by conversions from your analytics or measurement partner. Say which one.
Conversion ratesProduct analytics funnels, ideally against a holdout or control group.
Budget managedThe monthly media plan or agency invoices.
Reach and impressionsAd platforms. Use them only when awareness was the goal.

Adapting this example

  • B2B marketing: swap subscribers for pipeline measures from the CRM, such as marketing-qualified leads, sales-accepted leads and pipeline value.
  • Brand roles: show research, positioning and launch work, with brand-lift results only if you ran a study.
  • Do not claim revenue unless finance or the data team attributes it to your channel.
  • Keep the campaign table to three rows; pick the ones closest to the job you want.
