Dear [Hiring manager’s name],
I’m applying for the Senior Graphic Designer role on your packaging team. For five years I’ve designed brand identities and packaging for FMCG and D2C brands. My portfolio at yourname.design opens with a 14-SKU snack packaging refresh that is now on shelves in six states.
Your brief asks for someone who can take work all the way to print. I prepare print-ready files and run press checks with printers, and in the last twelve months only one job needed a reprint for colour or file errors. A packaging template system I built, with dielines and colour specifications, cut artwork turnaround for line extensions from five days to two.
I also design for screens and fast cycles. At a D2C apparel brand I produced about sixty assets a week with one other designer and wrote the brand’s first design guidelines. My ad variants won five of nine head-to-head tests in one quarter.
Your recent regional range uses three scripts on pack, and I’ve set type in English, Hindi and Gujarati for print. I’d love to walk you through the work behind these projects.
Thank you for looking.
Best, Sneha Joshi
