Best LiveCareer Alternatives (2026), Compared
LiveCareer’s builder is free to use, but free downloads are TXT, the $2.95 14-day trial renews at $23.95 every four weeks, and its own pages disagree on whether you will get a refund. These alternatives give you a PDF without that.
What is the best LiveCareer alternative?
Resumity (our product): free PDF and Word downloads with no watermark, unlimited resumes, and AI edits you approve, with one-time credit packs from ₹149 and nothing that renews. FlowCV and Reactive Resume are fully free builders, and Google Docs or Word templates are free if you write it yourself.
Why do people look for LiveCareer alternatives?
- TXT-only free downloadsBasic Access lets you use the builder, but downloads are TXT only; PDF, Word and RTF need premium access. (source)
- A trial that renews every four weeks14-day access is $2.95 and renews at $23.95 every four weeks; annual access is $71.40 and renews yearly. A visitor in India saw ₹195, then ₹445. (source)
- Refunds are not guaranteedThe pricing cards promise a refund within 14 days, but its FAQ says LiveCareer cannot guarantee a refund in all cases. (source)
- Downloads need an active subscriptionIts terms say stored documents stay viewable after you cancel, but downloading needs an active subscription. (source)
What does LiveCareer do well?
It is worth knowing what you would give up. From LiveCareer’s own pages:
- Paid downloads in PDF, Word, TXT and RTF

How did we pick these tools?
We read each vendor’s pricing, FAQ and help pages and applied the same questions to every tool, Resumity included:
- What the free plan really includes. How many resumes, AI uses and downloads you get, which formats, whether there is a watermark, and whether the plan expires.
- Price and renewal terms. The cheapest paid option as the vendor lists it, and whether a short trial renews automatically at a higher price.
- Files that ATS software can read. Single-column layouts with real text, exported as PDF or DOCX.
- Tailoring to a job. Whether the tool compares your resume with a job description and helps you close real gaps.
- Why you are leaving. Each list is ordered for the usual reasons people leave the tool the page is about.
Because Resumity is our product, weigh our ranking accordingly and confirm prices on each site before you pay. We do not take payment from the tools listed here, and none of these links are affiliate links.
