Best Teal Alternatives (2026), Compared
Teal’s free job tracker is generous, but its free AI credits are one-time, exports are PDF only, and Teal+ bills $13 a week or $29 every 30 days. Which alternative fits depends on whether you came for the tracker or for the resume tailoring.
What is the best Teal alternative?
If you used Teal mainly to tailor resumes, Resumity (our product): 10 free AI credits that refill every month, PDF and Word export, and one-time packs from ₹149 instead of a weekly plan. If the tracker is what you need, Huntr (free up to 100 jobs) is the closest swap, Careerflow adds a LinkedIn optimizer, and Simplify autofills applications.
Why do people look for Teal alternatives?
- Teal+ is billed by the week or monthTeal+ costs $13 every 7 days, $29 every 30 days or $79 every 90 days, and renews automatically at the then-current rate. (source)
- Free AI credits do not renewThe free plan includes a few one-time AI credits for bullets, summaries and cover letters. Once they are used, AI writing needs Teal+. (source)
- PDF only, English onlyTeal exports PDF on every plan, with no Word file. Its FAQ says templates follow US and Canada norms and the app has no language settings. (source)
- Short refund windowsRefund requests must arrive within 2 days on the weekly plan, 7 on monthly and 14 on quarterly, and are not guaranteed. (source)
What does Teal do well?
It is worth knowing what you would give up. From Teal’s own pages:
- Unlimited job tracking on the free plan
- Keyword matching against a job description with a match score
- Unlimited AI summaries, bullets and cover letters on Teal+
The 9 best Teal alternatives
1. Resumity (our product)
Best for: Tailoring resumes on credits that refill monthly
Resumity makes a tailored version of your resume for each job description, and you approve every change. Its 10 free AI credits refill each month rather than running out for good, exports include Word as well as PDF, and the interface comes in 14 languages. Its job list is simpler than Teal’s tracker, so keep Huntr or a spreadsheet if tracking is the main job.
Free plan: 10 AI credits a month, unlimited resumes and tailored versions, all 7 templates, no time limit
Paid from: One-time credit packs from ₹149 for 50 credits; pack credits never expire
Check before paying: No subscription, nothing renews. Card checkout outside India is not live yet, so international buyers can only use the free plan for now
Limitations: 7 templates, all single-column; no LinkedIn profile review; the mock interview is text only; no JSON or plain-text export.
Our product; see the checked facts on resumity.org/facts.

How did we pick these tools?
We read each vendor’s pricing, FAQ and help pages and applied the same questions to every tool, Resumity included:
- What the free plan really includes. How many resumes, AI uses and downloads you get, which formats, whether there is a watermark, and whether the plan expires.
- Price and renewal terms. The cheapest paid option as the vendor lists it, and whether a short trial renews automatically at a higher price.
- Files that ATS software can read. Single-column layouts with real text, exported as PDF or DOCX.
- Tailoring to a job. Whether the tool compares your resume with a job description and helps you close real gaps.
- Why you are leaving. Each list is ordered for the usual reasons people leave the tool the page is about.
Because Resumity is our product, weigh our ranking accordingly and confirm prices on each site before you pay. We do not take payment from the tools listed here, and none of these links are affiliate links.
